Macau Sauna Number Nine Spa: A Nightcap for Your Hong Kong Wine & Dine Weekend

Hong Kong's Wine & Dine Festival runs from 29 October to 1 November 2026. If it is the reason for a long weekend, end the trip with one night in Macau at Number Nine Spa: how choosing works on the runway, the hour in a themed room, and two add-ons on the lounge recliners.

A night of food and wine ends with one last choice: the nightcap. If Hong Kong’s food and wine festival is the reason for your long weekend, give the trip one too. Spend the last night in Macau, at Number Nine Spa on the Macau Peninsula.

Two days in Hong Kong, one night in Macau

The Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival, organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, runs from Thursday 29 October to Sunday 1 November 2026 at the Central Harbourfront Event Space. Take Monday 2 November off and you have a four-day weekend, Saturday 31 October to Tuesday 3 November: the festival’s last two days in Hong Kong, then Monday night in Macau.

Choosing at the runway

Number Nine Spa, open 24 hours inside the Royal Dragon Hotel, is known for its fashion-show stage. The therapists on shift walk the lit runway one at a time, and when you know who you would like, you tell the staff member beside you. The series is chosen separately, from the menu. If you cannot decide, this is the last night of the trip, and the Zen SPA · Asian Full Body, which the menu calls a step up, suits it well. You can see the stage on the show stage page.

Inside a room with its own colour

The hour takes place in a private themed room. Every room at Number Nine Spa has its own colour, nothing like the bright stage lights, and you spend the hour one to one with your therapist inside it. For the Zen SPA · Asian Full Body, the menu needs only one line: “A step up for a night of deep, unhurried relaxation.” On the last night of a long weekend, that line fits as it stands. What we hear most often from guests we have sent is that they want the same place next time. Photos of the rooms are on the rooms page.

Add-ons on the recliner, then stay as long as you like

After the hour you move to a recliner in the lounge. The add-ons are done there by a different masseuse, not your therapist, and you pick them once you are sitting down. The list has eight: ear cleaning and foot reflexology, a back scrub, head, leg and hand massages, and nail care for hands and feet. It is the last night of the trip, so there is no clock to watch either. The lobby lounge is free to use, and nothing asks you to get up once the add-ons are done. Rest on the recliner for as long as you want; the evening ends whenever you feel like heading back to your hotel.

Questions we often get before a long weekend

I am coming over from Hong Kong that day. How late can I arrive?

The house is open 24 hours. Therapist hours are separate: as of October 2026, 3 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning. Once you know when you will reach Macau on the Monday, let us know when you book. Our car will be waiting for you at the ferry terminal or the border crossing.

Can I drink wine at the spa?

Coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks are part of the price. Wine, like any other alcohol, is charged on top.

How much does it cost?

As of October 2026, Number Nine Spa’s menu ranges from MOP 1,199 to MOP 6,999, with a 10% service charge added. The Zen SPA · Asian Full Body is MOP 4,598 to MOP 6,999. The series are listed on the price page, and you can ask us about any item when you book. Prices follow the actual menu and may vary by treatment, length and time of day; the current menu confirmed when you book is the one that applies.

Booking the last night

When you book through this site, a free private car meets you at the ferry terminal, the border crossing or your hotel in Macau, and your ride back is settled at the same time. Two of the add-ons on the recliner are free with bookings made through this site only, and you choose them once you are in the chair. Advice costs nothing. Send us the date (for example, Monday 2 November), how many of you there are, your hotel and the series you have in mind through the contact page, and we will have the last night of your long weekend arranged.
